We are continuing to respond to the communities affected by Storm Eunice
Our Joint Fire Control are receiving a number of weather related calls including a danger of flying debris, damage to buildings and homes, falling trees and branches and disruptions to transport.
We are actively working alongside local authorities and our partners to provide emergency response across South Wales.
During these adverse weather conditions, we are advising the public to remain indoors unless absolutely necessary, only make essential journeys, steer clear of dangerous areas such as waterways and woodland areas.
We would like to thank the public in advance for their cooperation and want to reassure our communities that we are there for them if they need us. We understand the disruption has been significant and there will be many people who are left dealing with the aftermath of the devastating storm.
Whilst the situation continues to progress, please keep up to date with weather reports and respect the warnings and alerts in your area from Met Office and Natural Resources Wales.
