Statement from Fenella Morris KC (26th October 2023)

On 26th October, Fenella Morris KC, Chair of the Culture Review Team, sent a video update to South Wales Fire and Rescue Service as the team draws their independent investigation to a close, and begin writing their report.

Statement from Fenella Morris KC:

“The Review Team is very grateful for all the information, thoughts and feelings people have shared about the Service – good, bad, and indifferent.

There have been many visits – to stations, the control room and HQ, interviews – in person and virtual, emails, surveys, and focus groups.

There is now a lot of work to do reflecting on all of the material that has been shared with the Team and writing the Review Report.

The Review Team’s aim is to complete its work by the end of the year.”
