4Electrical Safety

Do you charge mobile phones, tablets, laptops, e-cigarettes or leave air fresheners in overnight or when you are out of the house?
Do you leave the washing machine, tumble dryer or dish washer on overnight or when you are out of the house?

5Heating your Home Safely

Do you have a fan, ceramic, gas or paraffin heater?
Do you dry clothes on or in front of heaters or in front of an open fire?

Do you get your chimney swept regularly?

Do you have an escape plan, so that everyone in the house knows what to do if the smoke alarm goes off during the night? Are hallways, stairs and landings kept clear enough to allow safe and easy escape? Would people in your home be able to escape through all exit doors and without having to search for a key?
